The Norwegian ice sledge hockey team has been successful over the years. Now a new generation is about to form the "New Norway". Stig Tore Svee, one of the most experienced in the team, will lead the team as the new team captain. PWWC got an interview with him - a hockey player that probably will continue playing hockey many years ahead from now.

Morten Vaernes got injured in a snowboard accident. Instead of quitting sport activities he got introduced to ice sledge hockey, which turned out to be a lucky shot! Today he is one of the most experienced players in the Norwegian ice lsedge hockey team and after several medals from different championships, there is only one kind of medal that is missing - a Paralympic gold medal. With the 2013 IPC World Championships ahead, the ice sledge hockey teams from Sweden, Norway, Estonia and Italy will face each other in a four nation tournament in Sollefteå during PWWC 2013. PWWC got in contact with Morten, who is also the former team captain, to get to know a bit more about him and the Norwegian team.
